Hello guys I'm new here! But about a week ago I found out that I'm pregnant with my first child :) I am very happy but nervous also!..

I was wondering what will happen in my first midwife appointment ? Also I've been to see my nurse yesterday and she asked me when I was last on (which I couldn't remember because I have terrible memory) but I've never been like 'clock work' I haven't got nothing wrong me or anything I've just never been regular haha! So I could really answer so I said I about 1 1/2 months/ 2 months ago? Which is a big guesstimate haha!

But I was wondering and sorry if this is a stupid question, but will they know how far along I am without knowing when I was last on? And if they can how do they find out?

When you have a scan they will take measurements of baby etc and give you a due date x

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I also couls not be sure of my last period but at first scan they will accurately measure and date the pregnancy.

I was the same, so they sent me for a dating scan, which was amazing because I got to see my little wriggler enjoy the mystery, soon you'll know!

Congrats!! The fun begins now! I said I wasn't sure of dates either so they sent me letter for dating scan, it means you get to see your baby sooner too

Hey hun congratz!!!

First midwife app she will make up ure folder and have u registered as a prego woman lol. She will ask if u knew when ure last period was and give u a rough due date, she will pass ure details to the hospital who will then get in touch when they think u r about 12 weeks. Once u go there u will have a scan and they can measure baby and give u a due date and tell u how far along u r . After this ure midwife will be in touch with u in regards to appointments etc xx
