Hi everyone! So after about a year on here I, like a few people recently have decided it's time to say goodbye to nct. I have gotten so much out of this site but am now so busy and will be even more stuck for time when I go back to work!
Now for the update on our little life... Hugo is now 9 months old. We have just come back from our 1st holiday abroad.. a cruise round the canary islands where we got married! Hugo was too cute in his suit although it was so hot he was naked within 30 mins of dressing him!! He was a little monkey and refused to look at the camera!!
So he has been crawling round for ages.... speedy Gonzales! About 6 weeks ago he started pulling himself up on the furniture and now walks round holding on! Such a strong boy! He is chatting away with the usual mamma, dadda, babba, nanna etc. I occasionally hear "real" words but think it's coincidental!! Lol
He loves his food. We went for old school puree weaning to start then introduced little bits of food for him to pick up and feed himself. He took to it like a duck to water!
Admittedly I have a very very easy baby!! He sleeps through 12/13 hours every night since 4 months and has only had an occasional blip waking up in the night! He loves his daddy, they have such a wonderful bond one of the many benefits I have found from bottle feeding.
This site has been invaluable at times, but my advice to every mum out there is to just follow your instincts.

Awwrh! Rach, congratulations on your marriage & It'll be sad to see you go - it's amazing how time goes so fast.
As you may remember as a mother of 2 myself im always stuck for time but as my LO is getting older i am definetely finding it easier for a bit of me time
