Hi i had the depo injection about a month ago, but im bleeding really irregular and nearly everyday since i had it.

some days i have been bleeding heavy then light then not at all. the last 2 injections i never really had any problems, infact the last one i never even bled at all.

has this happened too anyone else?

I had a couple of "Depo pro" injections a good couple of years ago now & from what I remember about it is that the jab itself is valid or effective for 12 weeks in total so as it starts to wear off/away from your body your period will start to slowly make a return.

I'm 33 years old now but when I did make the decision to take the injections I used to have really bad painful, heavy & irregular menstrual periods so as a result I think the injections seem to have tone things down for me.

If you're really worried about this you could try speaking to a nurse or doctor about it at something like a local NHS walk in centre or if not you'll probably just have to wait until the jab has completely left your system & not take another course.
