My daughter is going to be 13 wks on Tuesday & I'm also breastfeeding.

I'd say sinse a few weeks ago she being feeding a bit longer but also sleeping a bit longer so therefore I just continued to feed on demand.

Hey, 18wk old EBF & I would say variable & is still on demand to some extent depending on our day, travelling, how he's feeling, if he boob snoozes!

To summarise I would say 5-6 feeds between 7-7 and 2 feeds 7-9 (similar to that of cluster feed) and if not sleeping through then 1 night feed on a good night, bad nights would be growth/development spurts.

Hope that help? X

I'm editing at 2am, been up 30 mins already. 4 month sleep regression...google it, I didn't know about it until 'Whamm' there it was.

I'm feeding my 15 week old on demand as well - I guess it works out about 8 times a day with variable length feeds. This is including a gap of about 8 hours overnight. Sometimes he will have maybe 2 more feeds than this on a hungry day or if he is clingier for whatever reason.

My son is nearly 19 weeks and it depends what we r doing..if we r out and about with loads of distraction every 5 hrs but at home I get just over 3 so to answer your question probly between 7am and 7pm about 3/4 but the evening I cud sometimes b feeding gor like 90 mins. But like u say every baby is different x

Iv been aiming for every 3 hours but like you said depends whats going on the other day I got stuck in traffic and was panicing she would start getting upset but she was fine n if was 4.5 hours so thats why I started to wonder if every 3hours was to much but she stil gets up 1-2 times in the night so didnt want to cut her daytime feeds as shes obv hungry a night so not sure what to do!
