What are you considering?

I wanted a home birth with my first, but the nearest hospital had a really bad reputation so I went to a midwife led unit that was about 15-20 minute drive from a good hospital. I'm pleased I did as labour there was lovely and calm - not rushing around and busy like at a hospital. However, my baby was back to back and therefore slow to progress and I ended up being blue-lighted to the hospital in an ambulance which sorted me out and I had a natural birth at the hospital. We have moved house and area since then and I intend to have a home birth this time, I'm really looking forward to it! I've just bought a birthing pool off a friend, need to order a new liner. I'm only 28 weeks so still a while to go!
