My lo is just over 3 weeks, I had breakfast this morning but was then out till 3ish without anything to eat n by time I got home I felt really shakey n could physically see my hands shaking assumed it was because j hadn't eaten so had a sandwich but still felt really shakey n dizzy n have now felt like it all evening have had quite a few nights with little sleep was wondering if it was just because I'm tired anyone else had similar experience?

Are u bf? If u r u need to b eating 500 more calories and drinking alot more and if ur not this cud probli make u feel quite weak teamed with the tiredness if u struggle to eat then buy cereal bars or stuff u can keep with u on the go lik dried fruit cz it is important u keep your energy levels up xx.
Have you got a very full breast or breasts, that are red, possibly a bit lumpy and hot. It could be mastitis. I had it, came on very quick and gave me shakes and high temp. Check symptoms on nhs as you will need antibiotics if it is. X
I was and still am bf and although my third baby thought getting out and about at 2.5 3weeks was good but it didn't half knacker me out! The simplistic of things like a shopping trip for food and I felt really bad. Do make sure your drinking tones and eating it helps to prepare at the start of week maybe two or three meals same with sandwiches or salads, make them up then you don't need to worry just grab and eat. Take it easy having a baby is tough and we do need to recover slowly xx
Thanks everyone I an bf so can imagine ur prob right its just that I didn't eat for a long period of time n pos over done it don't think its mastitis as don't have any other symptoms usually am quite good with regular eating just need to make sure don't forget in future x
Hiya, I was expressing milk and wasn't looking after myself properly and callopsed twice and ended up back in hospital. You will probably have low blood pressure but you need to keep yourself feed and hydrated. You should be eating 200 calories more which only equates to a piece of toast but still look after yourself.
