Just found out we're expecting a girl... - Pregnancy and Par...
Just found out we're expecting a girl. But struggling to think of a girls name we both like. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance xxx
Me and my partner are exactly the same, I love phoebe, Olivia, Annabelle and Isobella, but my partner dosent like any of them its hard to reach a compromise you either like a name or you don't, we r just looking all the time to find one we like and each other likes. Xx
The names I liked for girls r maisy and summer but I had a boy so will have to save them for a few yrs. We knew we were having a boy but still didn't make a decision till he was few mins old...everyone said u will know when u see them for first time which I was like I dont believe that but it was true for us. Maybe get it down to 2 or 3 u both like or both write down 5 names u both really like and then try to whittle them down. X
Thanks we have until march to decide so not in any rush. I like Kaitlyn & Louisa other half quite likes those & are in the maybe list.
We had loads of girls names but only 1 boys name - we had a boy so there were no arguments!
Girls names we liked were Imogen, Ophelia, Evelyn, Ada, Evie and Irish girls names as my husband is Irish - Maebh and Niamh. Also like Grace.
Congratulations on having a baby girl!
Hi, Im same but wi boys names, found out were having a boy n can't decide on boys names but liked Evie n lyla for girl, I'm not due til march either so have plenty time 2 think about it x
It's so hard, many of the names already mentioned are either the names of friends or family children, so don't want to have the same. We had a boys name sorted - William after my husband as its family tradition. What date in march are u due Millie8? I'm the 15th xxx
I like lily-rose, summer, and dakota for a girl hunnot sure if u like these hun but thought I mention them.
We really struggled to find a name for our first and it really is hard, I agree. We got a book as well as looking on the Internet - so many baby name sites. In the end I suggested a name I liked and my husband said mmm, I think that was my grandma's full name - Annabel (although she was known as Anna) and that decided it. Made my father-in-law very happy as it was his mum's name. We've got our scan on Friday for number 2, I can't decide if I want to find out or not. Not looking forward to choosing a name, got ages though, we're due 25th March. Good luck!
We picked India for a girl! I still love it but lucky we had a boy as my husband forgot he has a cousin named India and my mum hates the name!
My husbands grandfather's name is Aubrey which is unisex, but more feminine imo. I love this too and would use it if we have a girl next time but one of our nephews best friends (girl) is called Aubrey and we see them a lot so can't have that either!
X
Wow it's so hard, thanks for the suggestions ladies, lots of lovely names. Good luck to you all xxx
Im having a baby boy and due in 2 weeks and still dont have a name if it was a girl I loved lily-rose my eldest daughter is called kadie-grace and boys suggestions would be lovely lol
Really like the name Anya If I have another girl I'll be calling her that also like Sophia too l. We also had one boys name and a load of girls names! Chose Isla in the end as Scottish family x
I also like Lucia but already know someone with this name too!
Youll know when you see her! We decided on the name Sharna, and then when we saw our little girl we were like shes a Lily. Sharna would not have suited her at all!
I love Lily....that's the name we had if we had a girl! Still keeping it for if we need it in the future
Allison because that's my name, of course I was going to say that first lol we had a boy but the girls names we chose was Isabella annabell. hope you can come to a agreement on a beautiful name, remember my first choice ha ha
Thanks everyone xxx
I like really unusual names so me and my partner had krystal and arcallia.
