Think I've got an infection

I thought it might be thrush and have been using loads of canestan but then after I can smell this odour which I thought might be the cream but it's not it's me! Has Anyone else had this and will it be ok if I leave it til Monday?

Babymother, Call a midwife and check it out. is everything else ok? baby moving well etc? Can it be a bit of a show or something? you say odour, what kind of odour, Cant believe i just asked that... only cos I have thrush well I think I do. lol x

Lol its like a medically smell like I said I thought it was the canestan cream but I'm very red on the outside andi can really smell it

oh dear. I dont think I could bend enough to smell lol lol lol.. no seriously maybe you should speak to a midwife about it x

I just called and they said I need to go to harmony but I'm too tired so feeing a bit rough so will go tmw x

I've had thrush loads of times during my pregnancy and canesten never helped me.but Daktarin gel did.its a shame my gp prescribed me this at the end.but i also had bacterial vaginosis few times.i've only known because of the smell. .i'd go to the doctors on monday.its better to be checked.he'll just take a swab and send it of so you'll probably have to wait few more days.hope that helps hun x

Went to harmony dr didn't even examine me said it's Prob thrush. .. so went to maternity triage and said didn't feel that was right so being checked here

They should really take some swabs to find out. If the smell is quite strong it might be bacterial vaginosis, which has very similar symptoms to thrush but you need a different cream for it x
