I'd wait until something else happens....contractions or water breaking as a show can happen a while before anything else occurs. Good luck and I'm jealous lol!! :-)

Hi there, Id contact your midwife just to be sure, after your mucus plug has come away you are more susceptible to infection, its what has kept any nasty's away from your baby for the last 8 months or so! Hope everything goes ok.

Ohhhhh Exciting no harm in calling to let them know just in case things happen quickly but u can lose ur plug a few days before anything happens but if ur waters go def ring maternity unit all the best xx

I would go with your gut feeling on this "to be honest"

if you feel as if you're getting some sort of contractions you could wait for a bit, & time them so you'll know some sort of progession is happening then call your Maternity Unit to let them know you're coming in.

But as one of the ladies said you can lose your show & something could not happen for a good stretch of hours to come.

xx

Is this your 1st baby ?

I went to an antenatal class yesterday - they said you can have a show and still take a couple of weeks before the baby is ready to come. But if I were u I would give your midwife a call anyway x

I wouldn't worry at this stage, it's just your body getting ready. My daughter had a "show" over a week ago and her waters started leaking yesterday. She has this morning gone into labour.

Just wait until something starts happening, there is nothing they can do. My first was born at 36 weeks. I had my show a week before but I didn't know what it was at the time. You may not have anything for a few weeks or it may slowly start happening. Good luck.

I would ring the maternity ward just let them know you've had a show,

usually when you have a show labour isn't to far away, could come on sudden or in the next few weeks.

goodluck+take care :)
