15 week scan tomorrow, really scared something will be wrong

Well I phoned the hospital and finally got my "12 week scan" but now at 15 weeks they have taken so long! So excited but sooo nervous. So scared something will be wrong and already experiencing a miscarriage last year has got me on edge. I also have to go on my own as my partner is offshore and the rest of family and friends are working. My stomach is turning at the thought of something being wrong, I really do not know what I would do if it happened again especially this late on. But trying to think big happy thoughts that all will be well! Hope all lovely mums and bumps are well x

It is scary just making sure everything is ok....but also lovely to see baby moving about on screen lucky they got u in quickly but bad they left it so late! Let us know how u get on xx

don't worry, you will be fine. I worried sick and it's not good for you or baby anyway because you can't really do anything - the nature will do its job I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax and think positive! good luck xxx

I think it is natrual to worry, I dont think you would be normal if you didn't. Just try not to think of what happened in the past put a shadow over you, you need to move on now and think positive. Good luck with you scan. At your 20w scan are you going to find out?

Just been to scan and everything was fine, happy healthy baby! With big long lanky legs!! Takes after his daddy on that part!! And he kept sticking his tongue out on all the pics! Such a proud mummy!! Never been so happy! Definitely going to find out gender at next scan. Just so happy!xx

aaah that is such fabulous news! it's such a bloody relief when you've been thinking the worst, isn't it? I'm also 15 weeks but my local hospital less of a lunch out so I got my scan a week and a half ago. i was staring at the screen half expecting her to say it wasn't alive I burst into tears when I heard the heartbeat! didn't enjoy it until near the end when she said everything was ok.

that's so funny he kept sticking his tongue out! obviously going to be a character. roll on 20 weeks!
