Abdominal pain?

I'm 39 weeks 2moro and been having some pain across my tummy and more braxton hicks. Has been sore with a soft tummy so don't think labour but tender. Baby's moving a fair whack n eaten a lot today so wondering if tender from changing position or just wind? Any ideas? Mulling whether should call hospital to check....

Hiya - am same date as you and braxton stronger and more frequent - maybe we'll both be in labour before end of May!! Good luck - call midwives if ur unsure otherwise just keep waiting!! X

Trust me you will know when they are labour intended pains. If they feel like Braxton hicks don't worry just keep a note and go with it. Have a bath to ease the pain if uncomfortable. When labour starts you'll just know we instinctively know this is it! I started with back ache after a sweep so had a bath. Pains started to come, I knew I'd have the baby that night, went to bed around 10pm and every time I had a pain I'd squeeze my hubby's hand. Until it was 5mins apart and he said I think we should ring hospital. Waddled on in at 2am 5/6 cm and I said right this baby will come by 6am I know it and she did was born at 5.25am with 20 minutes of pushing that was 4.5 years ago,,, now I've got it all to come again in 4 weeks I'm hoping for the same xx

Hi I am 39 weeks tomorrow and had the same cramps as you,all over the belly.it stopped now.i wasn't sure if its food related or what is it,but now is normal again.if in doubt always check with midwife..hope our babies will come soon!
