The main take-away seems to be to call your out of hours GP or NHS Direct if you're worried, and you sound worried to me, so if your child's temperature is still high, I'd place that call now--don't wail till the morning. Better to overreact to something that turns out to be harmless than to underreact to something that turns out to be more sinister.
Go to a&e, don't wait xxx
It does sound serious, but what is your instinct telling you. You are the only person who knows your child "better than a G.p, or other medical professional.
If she looks very ill take her to A&E A.S.A.P. , If you think her tempature maybe high but you can control it at home then wait for a little while.
My advise would be just to ensure you give her plenty fluids to drink & maybe a little snack & hopefully she'll be fine by Monday.
xx
Is she drinking and peeing? Is she acting 'normally' for her - is she interactive. These things are almost always viral and short lived, but if you are worried get her checked out. Presuming the 'medicine' is either paracetamol or ibbuprofen?
