I have fibroid had an emergency scan at 8 week when i had my 13 week scan on Thursday the fibriod has gotten bigger. any advice for me.

It depends on where it is normally it doesn't cause probs.i have two and they degenerated at 26week and caused excruciating pain for two weeks.not scaring you because this rarely happens I was just unlucky.xx

I am currently 23+5 weeks pregnant and have two fibroids. I knew about them before falling pregnant though due to a laparoscopy I had. They were both just under 2 cm when found, but at my 20 week scan they measured them at around 4x6cm and 5x5cm.

Because mine are in the wall of my uterus and away from my cervix i was told they should not cause any problem with the baby growing, or giving birth, I just might feel some discomfort as they enlarge.

The only thing I was told is it **might** cause me to bleed a lot during and after labour so I need to make sure the midwife and team who help while I'm giving birth know about them.

Do you know where your fiboroids are and what type you have?

It is fundal and has grown in the pass month by 4x9 mm i am getting some pain and when i walk its like my belly is going fall out. I have a 4 year old and was in a lot of pain with her and no one told me why i was just given cocodamal for the pain and that was it. after my last experience i am scared and also i just had one miscarriage and i am trying not to worry. I am a third year nursing student in my final placement and I am trying to push myself but this is not helping as I am getting panicky, i travel 2 hrs each way to placement and when i am in pain i cant cant walk i am just so frustrated at present and feel that my uni don't believe i am in pain. what can i do.
