Is it because you hadn't had coffee for a while and aren't used to the caffeine and it just made your heart race a little? Or sometimes pregnant ladies get palpatations (you can feel your own heart beat) and drinking the coffee might have been a coincidence? Hope you feel ok now x

Thanks I am feeling a lot better. Now i know to stay away from caffeine.

Yeah! I guess it was just the Lil shock to the systems of not having caffeine for a while. I also get heart palpitations sometimes (I could just be doing nothing) and by body temperature rises too.

Just a little coffee "every few days" wont hurt I guess

& P.S Well done on getting your appetite back. Im still ensure of my own, Im 12wks gone now with my 2nd baby but certain smells and textures of foods still leave me wanting to vomit

Hi Abenna,

This is my 6th pregnancy. Had 2 miscarrage and with each its different. I can't even have milk or drink water. I had a prper meal today and thank God it stayed down. But with each pregnancy comes different experience. With this one I just want to stay in bed all day and do nothing. On top of that I have fibrois which is another worry for me and baby. But thanks for ur advice I will try a little every now and then. xxxx

Switch to decaf tea and coffee x
