Lymphoedema Awareness Week - radiotherapy and lymphoedema risk.

Hello everyone,

It's currently Lymphoedema Awareness Week in the UK, and tomorrow is World Lymphoedema Day.

We've put together information about lymphoedema, a condition that falls under the umbrella of Pelvic Radiation Disease (PRD), as radiotherapy is a known risk factor for its development.

Having radiotherapy doesn't mean you will develop lymphoedema but, as the risk is life-long if you've had radiotherapy, it is important to be aware of the symptoms as early intervention can prevent symptoms worsening.
