I find the calm app or headspace app beneficial .I have also tried Kalms tablets and Bachs rescue remedy which do help a bit.

I’m willing to try anything that is recommended i have been prescribed diazepam beside it not really doing anything I’m reluctant to take it as it’s very addictive

Hi There, I loved your question and well done for asking that's huge. God at one point would have answered with what to try/avoid/look out for....and just caught that thinking

I'll share my experience - tried loads of things with really horrific results and some good - the only really true thing that changed was when i started behaving differently, going inward, changing behaviour, doing research, only acting from an informed decision based on evidence of the expert in that field and not a well meaning friends opinion. self love. Questioning actions like 'if this was my son at 2, would i be feeding him this/acting in this way what would i do? And if the answer didnt come up then ask a professional or on here/Maggies. Msggies have been amazing, getting connected on here, keeping safe. Anything that sparks an interest within yourself, a hobby you've always wanted to try that's connected to a support service. I used to think self care was a holiday, weekend spa break, 2 bottles of wine because deserved it. Now it's different and need to work at it/trial and error. Water/nutrition/sleep/nourish/fun/gentle/asking questions.

Like the idea of a hobby that's connected to a support group, though not sure if easy to access in my locality. Recently left a dance class (not supported) because the teacher can't seem to accept/understand my health issues mean I can't commit to performing on stage.

That’s awful Perido having to leave because of lack of understanding if she was a good teacher imo she would make the effort to understand and support you I hope you keep your dancing up x
