The patient summit offered a remarkable partnering of surgeons, researchers, pharmacists with transplant recipients, donors and caregivers/loved ones. As they say in the child advocacy community "Nothing about us without us." It is good to have AST recognize the value of the patient and caregiver voices, no turning back now!
