Our Governor just opened up our nursing homes today.
We can see our 96 year old mom and 90 year old stepmom. Plus my my 91 year old blind dad will be reunited with my stepmom again. He’s been driving my hubby myself and brother crazy with his rantings against being separated from her. Now maybe we all will have some peace for a change.
Hopefully you’re State will open things up soon too.

Well decades ago I cleaned my house from top to bottom inside. Did all 20+ loads of laundry in 4 hours; and took care of six loved ones everyday too.
Was great when I could do it.
I guess I worked more like a whirlwind in those days.

I have always loved the elderly.

No. We babysit when their parents are working at the house.
It must be wonderful to have an Aunt and Uncle that are able to care for and love their niece and nephew this way.
I had a beloved Aunt that did this for me when I was very young. She was my very favorite Aunt but more like a Mom to me.
Lost her to ovarian cancer in 1995 💔
They learn a lot about Diabetes and CGMs. They always ask about my blood sugars when they are here.😀👍🌈

My Aunt? Early 50s. She was such special soul.

I usually go to bed around 10 or 11 pm each night unless I can't sleep.
Great. My thyroid was destroyed by autoimmune disease so I rarely sleep; mainly catnaps whenever they hit like narcolepsy.
I have Epilepsy and a few other issues. I’m on medication, but I never get drowsy even though it is a side effect of the medication for Epilepsy control.
Sorry about your epilepsy and other problems.
I never get drowsy on meds known to do that either. I pray all is stable for you.

Thanks for asking sweetie. I have multiple spine issues from injuries back in 2000 & 2014.
My back hurts so much. I have to just stay put in my office chair with support pillows until dislocations pop back in and pain subsides. Daily ongoing ordeal now.

Things are going okay here now, but I was woken up by the alarm today on my receiver at 2:11 am. I had a quick snack and then went back to sleep for a few hours before breakfast.
