Sorry this is later today. Hope everyone is doing great this afternoon/evening.
This is the BRAINWORKS for February 5th. You can use the clues to figure out the theme for each day and fill in the missing letters in the words. You can take your time and always ask questions anytime. There's no need to rush. This is for fun!

Well the wife has a habit of hitting me on the head with a bottle of sparkling water saying go to bed you are stupid! Luckily it's usually a plastic bottle !!ππππ
hate to break the news to you... but sugar is natural also - it comes from sugar cane (or sugar beets)....
.
if you're interested in the science behind this:
cane sugar contains sucrose - which is actually 50% glucose and 50% fructose (the "fructose" is what's in high-fructose corn syrup).
most honey - assuming it's a legitimate honey (yes there's ALOT of hanky panky stuff going on with unscrupulous honey handlers) - most honey's contain fructose and glucose also - however they have MORE fructose than glucose.
so if you think fructose is bad for you - then honey is less good for you than table sugar. however honey does have antioxidants and other things that are generally considered more healthy.
Number 5 is a new type of sweetener. It is Advantame. I'm not sure how it tastes, personally, but it can be used in foods and hot liquids as sugar substitutes. The others are correct!
What is before a total in a math problem? A word that starts with a S and sounds like splendid. What is a new item that has been approved for being used in food and drinks? Starting with A.πππ
You got the first two correct and also the theme of the day! 3: Starts with S and sounds like splendid. 4: Also starts with S and comes in a green packet. Itβs also sweeter tasting than sugar. 5: New item approved for being used for food and drinks. Started with A.πππ
You got 1, 4 and the theme correct! What is before the answer in a math problem? A word that sounds like splendid. Also, starting with a S. What is a new item that was approved for being used in food and drinks? Started with A.πππ
Equal is usually in a blue packet and isn't that sweet compared to Sweet'N'Low (pink packet). Splenda is usually in a yellow packet, but a little sweeter than Equal. My favorite is Sweet'N'Low out of all the choices that are used as substitutes.
