That's me alright! Children's books are my weakness and I can't resist them. Children's books are fantastic now days, So many to choose from. Wonderful authors, mteaningful contents, wonderful illustrations. However, I was brought up on Enid Blyton....Holiday books, Famous Five. I then went on to read The Classics and Dickens. She has been knocked a great deal as a writer, in recent years. I can only say she inspired me to read and I developed a love of reading ever since. Mr

Funny you should say that about childrens books. I have recently been talking to an ex girlfriend ( when I was 18 lol) on facebook and in our conversation she said she had written a couple of books and I said I must have a read of one, It was on the Harry Potter lines with witches and warlocks but the main character was a dog,!. I would say it was more of a childrens book but what struck me was the imagination needed to write a novel, completely beyond me!. X

I have been enjoying insurgent by Veronica Roth this afternoon as it has been threatening rain here so that was the best option!

Just finished A Greek Island Escape. Really enjoyed it although the bits where it went back to when it was under military rule was quite sad.
