This leaflet was posted on the Pituitary Support Group UK Facebook site and I thought it might be useful information for those of us feeling the effects of lower doses of prednisolone. It can be downloaded free from the Pituitary Foundation.
The leaflet can be found at http:/pituitary.org.uk , condition booklets

and if so it would be better in your post which you can add - noone else can. But although I have put it here, most people don't look at the replies, the post is where they would see it.
Thankyou, I have added the link. The replies are always full of interesting and varied information, I get my daily “fix” every morning.
The leaflet is directed at people with Pituitary issues on hydrocortisone but might aid understanding of adrenal insufficiency. I find myself in both camps and not enjoying the experience.
thank you. I had a minor driving crisis today, pothole, flat tyre, narrow winding road down a hill, trouble pulling over safely, all sorted now but I was unexpectedly shaky and panicky, and still not feeling right hours later. On 5 and 1/2 mg pred, could this be adrenal?
It could indeed!! I hope you reported the pothole - and investigate if it had already been reported because if so, you should be able to claim it back.
I hoped the leaflet would list all the symptoms and give solutions for that flaky feeling which won’t go away, like taking a spoonful of honey or something. My brain seems to lag behind in my ability to deal with even a minor crisis and sometimes even to follow conversation. Does anyone else find this?
Took some doing!! You go to Shop and then Browse, Condition Booklets and then endlessly load More Condition Booklets until this one appears as the final one!! Only then does it admit it is free to download!!
Hardly encouraging for anyone in an adrenal fog ...
