Time change of predesilone.

I would like to change time from 10 pm to 8am for pred gastro resistance how do I do this with minimal effect on my body to assist with sleep difficulty. I’m on 3mg pred. 10Hour difference. Thank you

You do realise that the gastroresistant pred isn't in the system until 4 or 5 hours later than you take the tablets? So that shouldn't be a reason for poor sleep. Are you sure it is the pred and not adrenal function lagging behind and causing some adrenal insufficiency? That too can cause sleep disturbance?

If it were me I'd change the time by taking 2mg one night, 1mg in the morning, 1mg the next night and 2mg the next morning and finally none on the third night and all the dose in the morning.

Thank for quick response. That makes sense should I ask Gp for an adrenal test do you think first.

Why? Not sure it will tell you anything extra at this point. And is likely to take a while - unless you mean just a basal cortisol buteven that is likely to be a week or two in the current climate.
