I have seen four rheumatologists, two private and two NHS. Just one was any good and she worked for the NHS.

I’ve seen one in the US when I was diagnosed on holiday who was amazing, very knowledgeable, concerned, but very clear as to what treatment I should receive when back home in UK. However, I’m afraid I saw the one here privately as I’m still waiting to see him on NHS after 6 months, and he was nowhere near as good.

Now I’ve booked to see another one privately next week and hoping I get under someone’s care as my GP’s not interested at all. Very disappointed and weary of struggling.

I hope that you have a good one this time. I cannot believe how bad some doctors are!!
