Wednesday 1st November – Find out about the support offered by NHS volunteers in Bromley. Sarah Smith, Regional Relationship Manager for the Royal Voluntary Service will update us on the new services which include:
Check in and Chat – Available via self-referral.
Check in and Chat PLUS – Volunteer Responders provide regular telephone
support to people who may be housebound. It is available for a six-week period.
Pick up and Deliver – Volunteer Responders deliver medication and medical
equipment to your home usually before or after a stay in hospital.
This is an open meeting and you are invited to bring friends, family, neighbours and carers who are interested in finding out more about this new initiative in the Bromley area. Please book in as early as possible.
