Not on the PMR no. Being on pred means you could well burn more easily.

And again - PLEASE don't use your user name as the title of your post! Please say something indicating what your question/problem is.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by not using Raisin Bran on my post. Help!

When you pull up the page to write a post, there are two boxes, The upper one is for you to put a title - indicating what the post is about and what appears on the notifications to others, it says very clearly Title and there are 140 characters so it can't be very long. The lower one is for you to write your text and says Tell your story. Your user name will appear automatically under the Title and again in a third box beneath your post so there is no need for you to write it anywhere,

In one of your previous posts I linked a post I’d written about giving your post a meaningful title.

PMRpro has explained as well -so perhaps print her explanation if you’re not 100% sure or save this link -

Probably not but you do need to take great care when you are on Pred as you are much more prone to sun damage. I certainly burned easily when on Pred.

I didn't burn really - but I didn't tan as easily either. usually my arms and lower legs looked a bit grubby by the end of May and just got worse all summer. SInce i have reduced the pred - starting to go brown again!

I’ve just returned from a beach holiday and managed not to burn. I stayed in the shade quite a bit and never dropped below a factor 30 sunscreen. I’m currently on 9mg Pred.

I think the Pred makes us more prone to burning. I'd like to get out there with some sunscreen 60 or more because my legs, arms and feet are pitifully white and a tan might hide some of the bruises and marks. Not that it's a huge deal though. A little more natural Vitamin D can't hurt.

To colour your feet, legs maybe try something like this initially -it’s a moisturising lotion which also build up a tanned looked - although I’m in UK sure you can get it in most places via the big online shop!

Thanks DL. We do have it here. Also Jergens makes a good one. Never thought of it. X

A well known Chemist beginning with B sells it, it helps to get over the lily white legs of winter.

I’ve always been a sun worshipper but since being on pred and Methotrexate I really do limit my exposure. Short morning intervals while having my tea next to the waterfall pond results in a lovely tan and no burning.

I also now get raised bumpy, itchy spots my first time in the sun each year so I think I’ve developed a sun sensitivity.
