Hi and welcome
from your profile -
very wary of returning to playing again, as thought this could start my headaches again, advice please.
Flippant answer -Headache might depend on how well you hit the notes !
More sensible answer-
Once your GCA is fully under control by the steroids, there shouldn’t be a problem -but I would leave it a while long yet -2 weeks in is very early days and you need to be sure the GCA has been cleared from those arteries in head…and GCA is prone to flare early days, so you don’t want to take any risks.
However it might be sensible to check with doctor.
Only one way to find out - have a go! I don't think it can do any damage if you just try a scale or two at first and see how you get on and stop if it feels wrong.
