I know it is counterintuitive but is it possible to feel better on days when you are taking less Pred? I am presently tapering from 5 mgs to 4 mgs on an extended modified DSNS regime. I have various twinges (and have had since 20 mgs or so) but now I am getting down to lower levels it seems that on days when I taking the lower dose I actually feel better and less tired than those days when I am on the higher dose. Weird....?

Happened to me on DSNS. At the start I noticed the new lower dose days, after challenging my body with the new dose 3 or 4 times I stopped noticing what the dose was. And then, soon after the alternate days, as I increased the days of new dose I noticed the higher dose days more. Once I got there I went straight to every day new dose.

I was considering doing that also but as I said it is counterintuive but I'll give it a go. Fingers crossed...!🤞🙏

I think some of us are just very sensitive to the changes in dose - which is why I don't like the idea of alternating quite different doses like some doctors suggest, like 10/15 instead of using 12.5mg every day.
