Is that the GP? I'd ask to try 20mg and see if that is enough - it does take a bit of time to get the stored up inflammation cleared out so it may improve over the week,

😱😂 thanks for that. If my spelling got any worse it would be eladjable 😂,spelling,bane of my life. If people commented , would say spellings of words are totally illogical. And I have awake been very lodjic 😤

I found that my initial dosage of 20mg didn't last me 24 hours so have now take 1/2 the dosage in the morning and the other 1/2 in late afternoon to keep me ok until the next morning. Dr is happy with me doing that.

Hi - I also found 15mgs didn’t last 24 hours so I split my dose and had half (7.5) at breakfast time and half around 8pm. Hopefully that will save you going higher 🤞

I too was initially prescribed 15mg prednisolone and just like you it was definitely not sufficient to cope with the level of inflammation. That's not to say there was no improvement but I was still in an unacceptable degree of pain. After 4 weeks struggling I requested an increase in dosage from my GP who added 2.5mg and the improvement was immediate and spectacular.

15mg didn’t quite work for me, I added 1mg (with doctor’s advice), & it made all the difference. I would contact your doctor again, if it was me!
