Did you have a question on adrenal glands?
Thank you for reaching out. I'm new at this and figuring out how to maneuver the site. I was never part of a forum and feel so blessed that I stumbled across this by "accident." I did read the info on adrenal glands. After all this time seeing my rheumatologist I am surprised that he never even mentioned anything about the adrenal glands. Very interesting and helpful.Thank you again
Morning Collsie77, looking at your profile, you seem to be going through a rough time. Is there anything we can help you with?
Thank you. Right now I am trying to figure out what and how to work my way thru this site. Can you give me a few instructions? Also are we able to read the answers to other people's questions?
Hi, you should be able to see everybody's posts and the answers. Are you using a Mobile, Tab or computer? You will/may get different views and amount of information if using a small device. Think there are quite a few on the site who have sleep problems.
A read of everything in the FAQ's section will give you lots of help, advice and things to think about trying.

Hi,
Here’s a general post on adrenal glands - healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk...
And there are more posts under this - please have a look - healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk...
..and then come back with any specific questions.
Hi. I read everything on adrenal glands. Thank you so much. Do you take vitamins C, ,B5, B6, etc? How many mg of each aside from foods? Also, a significant problem for me is sleeping at night, often only 4 hours. I'm not worried, thinking or stressing. I fall asleep for 2 hrs, then wake up and lie awake for hours. I change rooms and eventually watch TV, which I know I shouldn't do. Is this common for PMR sufferers? Thankful you for your help.
Collsie
Not so much the PMR (though it kept me awake) but the pred may lead to poor sleeping. Doesn't have any effect on my sleeping now - even at 15mg.
see this post re sleeping - healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk...
Been off Pred for 5 years, but still take Calcium/VitD as prescribed by GP; have taken VitC (500mg) for years; now added in VitE (400iu) & VitK2 (100mcg) Mk7 - but you do need to check with GP/pharmacist before you add in any.
PS forgot to say I take no supplements except vit D but eat a very good diet so I doubt I'm short of much in the way of nutrients. I used to take calcium but had bladder problems so decided to cut the supplement and eat more cheese. Tastes better by any standard
Yeah, I’m really annoyed with my doc. Never seems too interested and never gives me more info. I learned more here in 10 days than I have from him in years. I’m looking for a new doc.
