Hi can someone please send the link explaining what to do when you flair. I know the process I just want to see why its ok to go up 5 mg and then drop back down after 10 days to a number just above where you left off. My husband wants to go down a mg every few days but I told him to listen to you. Can you show me the link explaining why its ok to drop back down once your body feels fine. Thank you

The note at the bottom of page 6 of this 'Sick Day Rules' document tells about returning to your original dose.

The document is not about flares, but gives information about increasing and then decreasing steroid doses.

Your husband may be interested to read it, as it is produced by NHS Leeds!
