Having major flare here ...

I'll start from the bottom up -

Feet & toes - excruciating

Outside of knees

Front of thighs

Hands and fingers

Jaw (although now seems to have eased)

and probably every other joint etc

Oh and headache

I've decided to increase from 5.5mg Pred to 10mg for five days and see what happens.

I'm just venting and am fortunate to have a sympathetic wife but only fellow sufferers can truly relate.

Have a good day!

Please take the advice that PMRpro has given. Never ever take any chances with suspect GCA, your sight is at stake.

Ditto to both replies……jaw and headaches do need to be checked regarding GCA…..and today preferably as the weekend is looming.

Please let us know any developments.
