PMR question and bruising

Has anyone else had this happen, out of no where and not as a result of any injury, but I have bruise just under my lower lip???? Had one similar several month ago, appeared out of no where and day or two and it was gone.

You haven't bitten your lip without thinking? Or overnight?

No, didn’t happen over night, during the evening, seem very strange, did some research, suggested lack of certain vitamins can cause it or steroids, but wondered if anyone else experienced this

I often sleep with my hand near my face. When on Pred I think I got bruises when I laid on my hand and it dug in. Before Pred it didn’t matter but with the extra bruising you get with Pred, I guess it did.

Yes, tend to think it’s the pred. As I will also get bruises on my arms

Yes, that’s very common. It did wear off as my dose came down.

As I understand, Pred thins our skin and small bruises under the skin, for no reason at all, are common. Nothing to worry about but at 3 mg I still get them. Not sure they go away once at 0 mg Pred.
