If you mean peptic ulcers due to H pylori that are being treated with the usual therapy - the above article suggests 2-3 months. If they are due to medication, they should start to heal once you stop the drug responsible. Then 4-6 weeks is a fair expectation.

thanks yes it was Hpylory to start with, now that is clear , it is 6 weeks into omozrapol

Then it depends how wel you heal - not sure if pred might slow it down at all.

thanks but been off pred 15 month now, but u i recon been on pred 7 yeqars could have started it off. because i had twinges of tummy brobs for 9 month but i couls treat it with rennies and stuff, but got too bad so then went to docs for tests and it was Hpylory
