You're right it's not dramatically new since it was published in 2001 - I think it may have been the start of them thinking about the joiny-uppy bits though.

I think it is worth highlighting that difficulty in tapering Pred could indicate an underlying problem. Mine was GCA/LVV, fortunately my Rheumatologist was alert to this possibility. Thanks!
