We have a wonderful new Adventure Park in Kingston, Tasmania where I live; it's only been opened for 2 weeks. I went there today with husband, ex-husband and 8 grandchildren varying in age from 2-22 and we had a BBQ on one of the free gas BBQ's.
Watching them on the huge array of rides, mud pools, rope courses, swings etc I thought "Why not?". And so it was that I a PMR ridden 71 year old stiffly staggered around cheered on by my lovely grandchildren. The flying fox had to be my favourite!
I may suffer tomorrow but the FUN we all had and to hear myself declared "The COOLEST Grandmother" will make it all worth it........

Wonderful! We went zip lining from the top of the Colorado Rockies after diagnosis...at about 15,000 feet to the valley floor below on a series of 9 zips! I explained, when booking, that I couldn’t walk that fast between the zips on the mountain paths, but they said it would be fine...& it was! My husband was 80 at the time. Never give up the ‘fun stuff’! The youngsters on the trip (only a group of seven of us) thought we were hilarious! Good for you, S x
