Just my update PMR and GCA

Hi everyone, not been on here much recently either too tired or can't be bothered, sorry.

I've had PMR for over 4 years then started with GCA January 2020. I'm now on 9mg Prednisolone and apart from fatigue and slight headache sometimes I believe I'm doing ok.

However my dry Macular has turned to wet in my right eye. Luckily this was found at my eye test, referred immediately to hospital eye clinic and had first injection to save central sight, hopefully, with ongoing treatment.

I had delayed my test because of Covid, thank goodness I didn't delay any longer! Don't delay yours!

There's a good lesson here to be learned from you, Marlenec, which is simply not to delay appointments. I had my flu jab today at my GP surgery and must admit I was a bit edgy. It was all very safe and I was in and out well within 15 minutes. For anyone with serious or complicated issues, keeping appointments is so important.
