I've sworn to do it one day but am afraid the "white coats" may be called! Also ambulances for the onlookers - could give someone a heart attack!!

No you just missed it!😂 I've had it for about 18 months. Haven't used it during the winter. Buzzing along at 10-15 kms it gets pretty cold - and I HATE cold!!

I know what you mean about being cold on the scooter. I think it’s because we’re sitting still and the body isn’t moving to keep us warm. I still go out on my scooter in the winter especially on those cold bright days, but I wear a pair of stretchy leggings under trousers, a thermal vest under tops and my long , wool winter coat, which covers my knees. Lined gloves and a pull on hat complete the kit. Yes it takes a while to get dressed but being outdoors does wonders for my spirits. I am unable to go out at present as I have heart failure and pulmonary hypertension as well as PMR, so have to abide by the shielding rules. Hopefully I can get back on my wheels in the summer. Enjoy your freedom!

Oh dear - soooo sorry to hear you are so i'll. I am lucky (so far) but apart from PMR I have Polyarthritis - that's what stops me moving.

I am far too lazy to get that lot of clothing on. Dressing is very difficult if you have arthritis in your shoulders, arms, elbows, hands, knees and ankles!?!😏😉 By the time I was dressed suitably I'd be exhausted - so I relax in my recliner instead!😂💥

Hope you had a relaxing Easter.

Kindest regards from Constance.
