Herbal or not - you do need to speak to the pharmacist to be sure it doesn't interact with your other medication.
Hi I've tried a few. The herbal type help a little. The stronger over the counter pills help a lot - I'm getting a much better quality of sleep as a result.
Best way to use any sleep aid, herbal or otherwise, is as a way to break bad sleep pattern and re-establish a good sleep pattern. I think the effectiveness of all of them wear off when taken for any length of time.
Have you tried warm milk with a teaspoon of honey and a topping of cinnamon and nutmeg? Along with a banana if hungry, I go back to sleep easily.
