I forget to add that I did tell the docthat my face feels sore and my scalp is tender to touch.

All the more reason for you to be seen soon - sore scalp is a common GCA symptom.

Anything else? What about jaw discomfort when chewing? Increased sweating? Feeling more unwell?

I wouldn’t say an increase in sweating as that happens fairly frequently anyway! I guess the pain is making me feel lousy too. Jaw bones feel achy and upper teeth ache a bit.

If GP doesn’t spark, then maybe a visit to A&E is in order, don’t need to remind you of my experience. In fact you can quote me to GP if you think it might galvanise her!

I agree with the previous posts,you need to see your doctor or go to A&E as soon as possible.please let us know how you get on.

Sore scalp is a sign of GCA,you need to see someone asap

Don't ignore those symptoms, go to the hospital if no joy with your GP, better to be safe than sorry. ATB.
