Rhino hump

Hi, I had moonface which is recovering. Cheek bones reappearing. Have now got the rhino hump. Bad posture anyways, so have a double hump. Question: is the rhino hump supposed to be tender? 15mg now on 6mg, 5 was too low with hip pain.

I think a lot of people find it is. Don't know why though.

I wouldn't assume that it is a Pred side effect necessarily, you are on quite a low dose now. A fatty deposit on the back of the neck can have a number of causes and should always be investigated. Especially as you say it is tender.

Well done on getting to 6mg. I am on 8mg (pmr/GCA). I too still have a hippo hump and It feels rigid and tender to touch. I sometimes think that if it could just have a deep massage in that area it might disperse but that's probably wishful thinking and might be quite painful. All the best cc 🍄
