LORAZPAM AND CLONAZAPAM HELP THE PMR PAIN?

Has anyone discovered that the Benzodipines (SP?) help their PMR pain. I have a lot of symptoms of PMR but pain meds and Benzodipines seem to improve the pain be 60-80% for 8-12 hours.

I'd suggest it may not be PMR pain - the benzodiazepiness are muscle relaxants and do help myofascial pain syndrome and other conditions where muscles go into spasm. In pure PMR that isn't the case, it is inflammation. Pain killers also rarely have any significant effect on PMR.

As PMRPro says if benzodiazapines help the pain, it is unlikely it is the PMR pain they are helping, but something else.
