Thanks for 'tipping us off' about this, Dave. I have read the article - whereas we do know that steroids can cause adrenal suppression, it would be interesting to know whether any of us suffered a measure of adrenal fatigue prior to succumbing to PMR/GCA. Alas, we'll never know.

LO Celtic. I also suffer with under active thyroid,fatigue has all ways been a problem even though the thyroxine seemed to make me hyper,if that makes any sense ? but since being on pred it has become really draining.having said that with super dooper advice from the 3 forums i am now down to 5mg going for 4;5mgs.I Have just read Eilleens post on the other forum, so i count myself very Lucky.
