Yes, I have and I know of a couple of others. As mine gets better on the lower Pred doses, I have always put it down to steroid side-effects - although I can't find it written anywhere.

Please mention it to your doctor/rheumatologist when you see them, it should be recorded on your notes for future reference.

I suffer similarly but I (and my GPs) associated it with a heart attack (and subsequent bypass surgery) I suffered in 2007. Interesting that other people on pred also suffer with respiratory problems.

Hi geater16393.Yes I also have unexplained muscus from time to time-almost white frothy spittal, for day or two.Shallow breathing also but mainly in the cold weather,I guess just

waiting for the Steriods to work which appear to be slower than the Adrenals.I did have a cough, seperately ,and that was an infection and treated with Antibiotics ,I was quite bad with it.But again since the warmer weather no sign of it. I am quite keen on swimming and know that helps with breathing and circulation and swim twice a week, feel good in the water-

working on getting back to SCUBA eventually-but with this PMR- I believe that all the time I am swimming I am 'Not Drowning'!
