Just before my 65th birthday. I had planned to work till at least 70 years if it was possible. Imagine my disappointment when my specialist said ' it's all over now, you have to do a desk job or the pred will damage you!' Misery. I gave up a job I really loved because it was too physical, and I missed my work mates so much. I still keep in touch and they all are so pleased to see me when I visit that I could cry sometimes. This illness has robbed me of so much!
