I have the Three Degrees song in my head constantly! Because I keep singing ‘When will I feel well again, when will I have precious moments, etc….’ 🫣 🎶 The original lyrics only need a couple of words replacing and it is my song. 😉
Singing to myself!: I have the Three... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Singing to myself!
I'm glad you are singing thats good, I was wondering how llong do you think you were deficient, as we are kind of at the same time frame for injections as me. I was at least 7 1/2 years that I know of. with the symptoms back then.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2005, so possibly as far back as then. But got worse about 7 years ago. My vitamin D level was very low back in 2014, although no GP ever reacted to it. I was on omeprazole for about 15-20 years too so think it’s a cumulative effect of various things over the years.
Well that sounds very positive, Chickens44! I say that because after about 3/4 months of injecting eod, I found myself in the kitchen, lightheartedly singing some nonsense while waiting for the kettle to boil. Not unusual, except I realised I hadn't done that in many, many months. I laughed, then I had a little cry at how poorly I'd become. Now I sing every day, sometimes with a little dance too! Signs of recovery come in many forms 🎤😲🎶 ! Maybe a chorus of 'I Will Survive' or 'I Feel Good' might sneak in to your repertoire too...Keep singing!
Hi Chickens
Singing is good! I think the Vagus Nerve in particular likes it!
I am not as refined as you in my song choice - I sing the nursery rhyme “Baby Shark” I even do the actions - my kids think I am mad but it lifts the mood when I get maudlin!
There is a great rendition on You Tube by the RNLI which please take a look - it’s the most watched rendition of theirs nursery rhyme. My daughter volunteers with the RNLI and she says they do this after training sometimes!
Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference!
Sing your hearts out !
