Woohoo! That's superb news - very reassuring... For now.

And I can vouch for your thoroughness.

Perhaps they've filed "Grossbritanian" under "U" for UK, for now?! 😜😁!

Where ever, its great news!

Thank you!

No , it’s been added at the very end of the list , after Vatican !

Without looking it up I was trying to think if there might be any places on the list beginning with V, W, X, Y or Z which would mess up my musings! Oh well, good for the Vatican! 😁

At some point I had to fill in my address from a drop-down list and neither England nor the UK, nor Britain or Great Britain was there, so Suffolk - as far east as is possible to get in the UK - suddenly was located in "Wales", almost as far west as you can get!! I figured it was just about nearer than Scotland! 😂

hi, this is my first post on so apologies if I’ve got it wrong. The German translation for United Kingdom is Vereinigtes Konigreich. Hope this helps, I haven’t ordered for a while.

Hi and welcome!

Thank you very much for posting and for your knowledgeable input - really appreciated.

To be honest I didn't know and was just mucking about by way of making light of what is to me a potentially life threatening situation if in future I can't buy my ampoules from Germany. I have other health issues which would mean travelling to Germany to buy them would not be a good option, let alone the cost and potential hassles at the borders, etc.

Now you are a successful contributor, I hope you will join in more often: I look forward to seeing your other comments and posts.

I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve tried to sign in with my saved password and user name, felt like I’d been shut out. But today after reading your post I actually re-registered successfully 😅 Now to see what they have🤞

Thank you so much Wedgwood 🙏🏼 I wonder if they also noticed a dip in sales. If you can buy OTC in Germany I suspect the uk is a big customer. Whatever! Let’s hope more follow.

Yesterday, a member on the forum wrote that her GP had said that due to a general shortage of B12 ampoules , he was stopping all B12 injections , and telling patients to take tablets . This is very worrying . I know that I and many other P.A. patients can only absorb B12 injections .

I looked , and saw that Cynocobalamin ampoules were also out of stock . There is a general shortage . Hope it gets better soon . Otherwise it means powdered Methylcobalamin and saline from U.K. which I do not want … ..

Worrying situation to be in.

UK as a PS ? That'll do - better than not being on the list at all .

oh no. Cyano out of stock as well. Has anyone tried to contact panpharma directly? I might if i find some time.

That’s awful! I wonder if the postal strikes have anything to do with stock not arriving.

I can’t absorb orally even though my GP insists on prescribing me tablet form. It’s a fob off, thinks it’s covering his backside. Can’t wait for him to retire.

I know that the basic material that all the various cobalamins are made from, comes from 2 gigantic factories / laboratories in China . Also there’s a smaller facility in France . And that’s it . Maybe supplies of that are being held up ? I really don’t think it’s the Postal strike . That might account for a few days delay , that’s all .

Just looked on shopapotal.de Also out of stock there .

Neither Bodfeld or Versandapo have Vitamin B12 depot in stock.

Is there a global shortage of hydroxocolbamin, or has advice given to those on health unlocked caused demand to rocket?

Any other sources? My stock is running low.

Just used ampoule which expired in June. I seem OK on it but suspect it won't last as long.

I’ve just looked — Apotheke-marienbrunn.de has B12 depot Hydroxocobalamin ampoules . 16199653 will take you to it . There is no discount ,€10.29 a packet of 10 and courier costs €24.99 ! So that’s a reason that U.K. members don’t use them . But when needs must ……….

wedgewood in reply tonatterjack1

if you use them , they call U.K./ GB. “ Vereinigtes Königreich

Hi Wedgewood. New here (in my search for where to buy) but have been ordering hydroxy then methyl from Germany for past 6 years until brexit!! I ordered plenty of Methyl from Arnika in 2021 and am now running out. I just went on bodfeld website but its all Cyancobalamin. Do they do hydroxy or methyl? Or do you have a link for somewhere that does? Many thanks.

Bodfeld does sell Pascoe B12 depot ( depot indicates it is Hydroxocobalamin) Now that Panpharma( formerly Rotexmedica) is virtually unobtainable , many of us have taken to Pascoe B12 depot. 1.50x 1ml ampoules . They are 50% stronger than Panpharma , but in 1ml ampoule , which many people prefer to the other obtainable one — Hevert b12 depot which is 1.00 x 2ml .

apohealth.de have the Pascoe Hydroxocobalamin ampoules . You can get the site in English ; they deliver free of charge to anywhere in Europe . and you can pay with PayPal or a card .Expensive at €21.17 for a pack of 10 but they are excellent.

100 cost €94.92

Arnika is the only place I know of in Europe where you can get Methylcobalamin ampoules . You can get dried Methylcobalamin from Oxford Biosciences. Then you need saline for reconstitution . But it’s not advised to use this for fear of contamination . .

Best wishes .
