Welcome to the new group for those partnering someon on their walk with Behcet's. Behcet's Disease is a form of Varied Vessel Vasculitis, meaning it causes inflammation of the blood vessels throughout the body, leading to a great variety of symptoms many of which are internal and therefore invisible despite causing pain, fatigue and problems with mobility. Although there is no known cause for Behcet's, no diagnostic test and no cure, with the right treatment most patients will come to live a fairly normal life.
This is a place where you can share in confidence, meet others going through similar situations, ask questions and gain information and support for you and the Behcet's patient you care for. Welcome!
