MRI guided focused ultrasound

A friend sent me this, does anyone have any knowledge or experience with it? A friend who's father had PD had the old palidotomy years ago and had very good results. Seems this is similar but with ultrasound vs. metal probes.

I have contacte UVA in regards to it and am awaintin information.

Not sure when I will hear back from UVA, I am hoping they have a study that is ongoing.
