I'm in the Georgetown study. I don't think they expect data to be released until 2020.
Can you tell if you getting the placebo or the drug?
The first part of the study was blinded and placebo controlled, so I didn’t know what I was taking during that component. The second part of the study is open label and all patients get active drug. I’m on 150 mg per day which is the low dose for the study.
Tough to say. Nothing dramatic. It’s intended to slow progression, though, so absent a comparison to placebo, how do you know?
