Hi, I am interested to know from anyone who is taking ,or has taken Bromocriptine and how they have found this drug to be? Any side effects?

This is a dopamine agonist but not a modern one. Have you had problems with the newer agonists such as Requip?

I have taken bromocriptine for pituitary tumors , apparently .I have taken this drug everyday for 17 years only to realise now about the obsessive side effects .I dont take anything now, and just wonder how my young life would have been without taking this horrible drug.

No I don't have PD.I was prescribed this dopamine agonist (bromocriptine ) for pituitary tumors about 20 years ago .i refuse to take it now , and fortunately my hormone levels have remained at a good level .
